During the Treatment:

• The treatment area will be cleansed and a topical anesthetic may be applied to ensure your comfort.
• You will be given protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the laser.

Post-Treatment:

• Immediately after the procedure, you may experience redness, swelling, and a sensation similar to a mild sunburn. These side effects are normal and typically subside within a few days.

Aftercare:

• Keep It Clean: Gently cleanse the treated area with a mild cleanser to prevent infection and promote healing.
• Moisturize: Apply a recommended ointment or moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated and protect it from dryness.
• Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from direct sunlight by wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and avoiding sun exposure as much as possible.
• Follow Instructions: Adhere to all post-treatment care instructions provided by your skincare professional to ensure optimal healing and results.

Healing Process:

• First Few Days: You may experience redness, swelling, and slight discomfort. It is crucial to keep the area clean and moisturized.
• Week 1-2: The treated skin will begin to peel and flake as new, healthy skin emerges. Continue to follow aftercare instructions to support the healing process.
• Week 3-4: Redness and swelling should significantly reduce. You will start to see noticeable improvements in your skin's texture and tone.

AT HOME  

The skin is very red, swollen, flaky and covered with small scabs for at least 6 days. After about 7 days your skin will look better again. For the first 6 days, cover the treated skin with compresses 3 times a day for 10 minutes. Soak these compresses in acetic acid solution. You can make this by dissolving a tablespoon of white vinegar in a glass of water. After removing the compresses, apply the prescribed antibacterial ointment to the skin again. Your skin will still be red for some time. You also apply the antibacterial ointment to the treated skin 3 times a day. You may wash your skin with lukewarm water or take a shower. After about a week you can use make-up again. It is important that you apply a perfume-free sunblock to the skin when you go outside. When your skin is exposed to the sun, pigment spots can develop. Use factor 50. You must maintain this for 8 weeks prior to treatment.

PRE - TREATMENT 

You are not allowed to go in the direct sun the month before the treatment. There is a chance that pigment differences will occur after the treatment.
